Kicking off 2017, Elīna Garanča gives first Mexican performances on four-city tour

Elīna Garanča launches 2017 with her first performances in Mexico, comprising a four-city concert and recital tour. The Latvian mezzo-soprano begins with three orchestral evenings alongside conductor Constantine Orbelian, highlighting repertoire from her new album for Deutsche Grammophon, Revive.

She is first heard in Mexico City at the Sala Nezahualcóyotl on January 11, followed by the Teatro Bicentenario-Guanajuato in León on January 14 and the Teatro Isauro Martinez in Torreón on January 17. On January 20, alongside pianist Rogelio Riojas-Nolasco, Elīna turns to recital repertoire for a performance with the FAOT Music Festival in Alamos.
